LIPTOV

LIPTOV is Slovakia's number one tourist destination in winter and summer and a ``green`` arena full of natural beauty, adrenaline, water parks and entertainment, live folklore and traditions, as well as history, culture and unique gastronomy. The uniqueness of Liptov is that in one day you will discover the underground beauties of caves through hot thermal springs to great skiing or hiking experiences in the mountains.

HIKING

In the Liptov region there are about 50 hiking trails and marked trails with a total length of 1185 km. They are located in the High Tatras National Park (Liptov part of the Western Tatras), the Low Tatras National Park, the Great Fatra National Park and in the Choč Mountains. The total length of marked trails in Slovakia is more than 14,000 km.

CYCLING

Liptov is changing into a cycling region not only of local importance, but with all the conveniences and services we know from abroad. The individual routes follow each other and can be connected into larger circuits, while the main thematic route is Vlkolínec - Pribylina. This connects all the most important tourist centers, attractions and attractions of the region in the breathtaking natural beauty of the Tatras.
